Agreement to Terms

By accessing and using the Sod 2 Day website at https://sod2day.com(“the Site”) or engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you should not use the Site or our services.

Services

Sod 2 Day provides professional sod installation, sod removal, sod delivery, irrigation installation, sprinkler repair, and lawn care services in the Tallahassee, Florida metropolitan area and surrounding communities. All services are subject to availability and scheduling.

Quotes and Estimates

Free quotes provided through our website, phone, or on-site visits are estimates based on the information available at the time. Final pricing may vary based on actual site conditions, material costs, and scope changes discovered during the project. We will communicate any changes before proceeding with additional work.

Service Guarantee

We stand behind the quality of our work. Sod installations include a 30-day root establishment guarantee under normal watering conditions. If any areas of newly installed sod fail to take root within 30 days and the provided aftercare instructions have been followed, we will replace the affected areas at no additional cost.

This guarantee does not cover damage caused by neglect, improper watering, extreme weather events, pest damage, chemical applications by third parties, or failure to follow our aftercare instructions.

Scheduling and Cancellation

Scheduled services are subject to weather conditions and material availability. We reserve the right to reschedule work due to inclement weather or other circumstances beyond our control. Customers will be notified as soon as possible of any scheduling changes.

If you need to cancel a scheduled service, please notify us at least 24 hours in advance. Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice may be subject to a cancellation fee.

Payment Terms

Payment terms are outlined in your individual service agreement or quote. Unless otherwise specified, payment is due upon completion of the service. We accept cash, check, and major credit cards. For larger projects, a deposit may be required before work begins. Specific payment terms will be communicated in your quote.

Website Use

Permitted Use

You may use the Site for lawful purposes related to obtaining information about our services, requesting quotes, and contacting us. You agree not to:

  • Use the Site for any unlawful or fraudulent purpose
  • Submit false or misleading information through forms
  • Attempt to interfere with the proper functioning of the Site
  • Reproduce, duplicate, or copy any content from the Site for commercial purposes without written permission
  • Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to access the Site without permission

Intellectual Property

All content on the Site — including text, images, logos, graphics, and design — is the property of Sod 2 Day or our licensors and is protected by copyright and trademark law. You may not use our trademarks, logos, or content without prior written consent.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Florida law, Sod 2 Day shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Site or our services, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or other intangible losses.

Our total liability for any claim arising from our services shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Sod 2 Day, its owner, employees, and contractors from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorney fees) arising from your violation of these Terms or misuse of our services.

Disclaimer

The information provided on the Site is for general informational purposes only. While we strive to keep the content accurate and up to date, we make no warranties or representations about the completeness, accuracy, or reliability of any information on the Site. Lawn care results may vary based on soil conditions, climate, maintenance practices, and other factors outside our control.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any legal action or proceeding arising from these Terms or related to our services shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Leon County, Florida.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that these Terms shall otherwise remain in full force and effect.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to the Site. Your continued use of the Site after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.
